Vet Fest 2024

Serving those who served our country proudly!

VetFest is a public event that features organizations providing free information, services, and products to our local veterans.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 16th, 2024 from 11am-2pm at the AMVETS Medallion #13 Post, located at 25 Review Pl, Buffalo, NY 14207 in the underserved area of Riverside-Black Rock.

We would like to have as many organizations as possible participating, as our veterans are the backbone of this country, and their well being is important to us. At this event we will also provide free food, drinks, haircuts, and other items to all local veterans that attend.

This will be our first VetFest event since the pandemic, and we could really use your support to make it as successful as possible.

Vet Fest is a coordinated effort of the River Rock Community Coalition (RRCC), and the Riverside Business Association (RBA); sponsored by M&T Bank, and Highmark BCBS of WNY.

We look forward to serving those who served our country!

2022 Children's Holiday Party

Santa Claus, gifts & treats for our community

In a coordinated effort, the River Rock Community Coalition (RRCC), the Riverside Business Association (RBA) and the Community Police Officers (CPO) of the Buffalo Police Departments (BPD) Delta District hosted a Holiday Party for all school aged children in the Riverside-Black Rock area.

The party was held on Sunday, December 18th from 10am-12pm at the AMVETS Medallion Post 13, located at 25 Review Place, Buffalo, NY 14207. The party featured photo opportunities with Santa Clause, refreshments, snacks and a gift for every child in attendance.

The event was made possible through a grant received by the RRCC from Target's "Heroes & Helpers" program. Treats and refreshments were donated by Paula's Donuts and the RBA.

We look forward to seeing even more smiling faces at next years event!!

2023 Breakfast with Santa - Children's Holiday Party

Hot breakfast, cocoa, treats, Santa Claus, & gifts for our community

In a coordinated effort, the River Rock Community Coalition (RRCC), the Riverside Business Association (RBA) and the Community Police Officers (CPO) of the Buffalo Police Departments (BPD) Delta District are again hosting a Breakfast with Santa - Holiday Party for all school aged children in the Riverside-Black Rock area.

This event will be held on Sunday, December 3rd from 10am-12pm at the AMVETS Medallion Post 13, located at 25 Review Place, Buffalo, NY 14207. The event features a hot breakfast donated by Kevin's Catering, photo opportunities with Santa, refreshments, treats and a gift for every child in attendance.

The event is sponsored by Dolce Panepinto, Attorneys at Law, Mohawk Global, DiVal Safety, Highmark BCBS of WNY and also received donations from Target, Paula's Donuts and Kevin's Catering.

We look forward to seeing all of the kids smiling faces!
